Powertec’s 2020 Supplier Update

Powertec Telecommunications is proud to announce their newest suppliers and product ranges which are now available for distribution across New Zealand and the Pacific Islands.

These strategic additions are set to expand Powertec’s market presence across Australasia.

Modems and Routers

In June, Powertec was appointed master distributors for the URSALINK product range.

URSALINK brings their robust product expertise to Powertec in the IoT Connectivity arena with their compact Industrial Cellular Routers but also complement the business direction of Powertec with their LoRaWAN sensors and gateways.

URSALINK joins Powertec as one of their lead IoT brands in their expansion into industrial cellular routers. They will sit alongside Cradlepoint, Peplink, Teltonika, Cellferno, Kerlink, Ericsson, plus Powertec’s own multi-network myinsight.io IoT connectivity module versions CM11 and CM22 in their Industrial Cellular IoT Routers and Gateways portfolio.

Powertec’s Product Development Manager Paul Boyce says that this partnership is an exciting opportunity for Powertec. “This strategic partnership will set Powertec apart with access to robust and powerful products ready for deployment in marine, agribusiness, smart city and industrial applications. We are particularly looking forward to introducing the UR35-FXS, a voice-enabled industrial cellular router to make and receive calls through the mobile network’s voice channel.”

Antennas

Soon Poynting will join Powertec as one of their cellular and IoT antenna brands and will sit alongside the rest of their brands which include MARS, GME, Blackhawk Antennas, Panorama, and Pulse Larsen.

Boyce states “Poynting is the perfect fit for our dealer distributor base who have a focus on quality antennas for connectivity solutions in rural and regional communities and businesses. Our antenna business has doubled year on year over the last five years, and the Poynting range complements the existing products very well.”

Poynting’s products are durable and produce an outstanding performance in those verticals that Powertec specialise including cellular, marine, mobility, mining, farming and agricultural, IoT and M2M.
