Powertec Telecommunications is excited to announce their 2020 partnership with Poynting Antennas distributing across Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands.  

Paul Boyce, Powertec’s Product Development Manager, states “Poynting is the perfect fit for our dealer distributor base who have a focus on quality antennas for connectivity solutions in rural and regional communities and businesses. Our antenna business has doubled year on year over the last five years, and the Poynting range complements the existing products very well.” 

Poynting’s products are durable and produce an outstanding performance in those verticals that Powertec specialise including cellular, marine, mobility, mining, farming and agricultural, IoT and M2M.  

Alwyn Bester, Internation Sales Manager at Poynting, stated “We welcome signing this distribution deal with Powertec Telecommunications due to their increasing presence in the LTE and 5G antenna space across Australia and New Zealand.  It also happily coincides with the launch of our new XPOL-1-5G, a high-performance, omnidirectional 2×2 MIMO LTE antenna 

“The new antenna will be distributed by Powertec and offers a new and improved wideband performance from 698 to 3800 MHz which includes the contemporary LTE and 5G-ready bands as well as the newer 5G/CBRS band from 3400 to 3800 MHz.”
